Today we stayed close to home and had a day layin at the pool. It was beautiful. We had snacks, drinks, sunshine, pool, what more could you ask for? Especially when your husband flirts with you, it's always a fun time. Your never to old to be thrown into a pool. It may hurt you more, both of you for that matter, but your never to old. Luckily this wasn't a thing for us, this time anyway.
We had a great day. Went to the two places that decided to frequent for lunch and dinner, and they remembered us at both. A fun thing I decided, especially as you feel local-er somehow that way. Which is something I enjoy. At the lunch place I am the girl who orders a Greek salad with no tomatoes. Yes that's me. But he said I am the second person, so I guess that a good thing? , better then being the first maybe? Also fries and tzatziki, which is delicious! For dinner again I got lamb chops and they were better then last night. Tasted great!
All in all a successful day. Naps in the sunshine are by far the best naps. Of course you need to ensure you won't fry but they are magical things. You are so completely wrapped in warmth and you slowly fade into dream land. It's great.
We are glad we are getting the pool time we were hoping for. But tomorrow will be a different day as we venture into the Santorini that exists in our minds. There was a red sand and black sand beach that people were dropped off near the other day on our island tour hotel drop off. We have interest in them but want to see tourist Santorini first. But we are looking forward to tomorrow, as we do everyday.
And so the adventure continues...
