Laundry day in Milan, means a low key day. Just to clear anything up, we do laundry frequently but laundry day, means not outta the sink, going to an actual laundromat. Everything gets clean clean not just clean. So we are feeling good, and fresh.
First impression of Milan is good. Seems like a cool place. The area that we are staying in is just off a street that is packed with stores, high end and not. But fun to all down and watch all the people. We ventured out for some food and decided on an easy McDonald's and we haven't had any and usually don't eat McDonald's even at home. Fun fact they have a gluten free burger here. Not a bad burger just plain and you can't add anything on because it is pre packaged stuff. But hey that was an experience in itself. Haha primarily due to the gluten free fact.
The buildings around here also seem to have the European feel I enjoy mixed in with the modern architecture. Looking forward to seeing more of the city tomorrow.
We had a good relaxing day today, walking around the area we are staying in but not venturing to far. We needed another relaxing day before we have a few weeks of back to back busy days seeing all Italy has to offer. But we are excited to get started on the next chapter of the trip. Italy has a lot to offer us and we are hitting up a lot of cities.
There isn't much more to say today. Hope everyone had a great long weekend. We of course are now lost on what day it is. A frequent occurrence that we welcome. We just know check in day and check out day and that is all. We tend to like it that way. Ready for Italy! Full speed ahead.
