We had a picnic lunch today at the beach, unfortunately for me there were legs and eyes involved. Luke enjoyed whatever he was eating except for excess of sardines. He got the mix, but there were more sardines then he bargained for.
We got to the beach and thankfully our spot from the other wasn't taken. It was a beautiful day. Most of the clouds were very periodic and didn't last long. Which was great but through the heat the shade a was a welcomed thing.
We were able to actually go in the water a few times today which was great! Although it was very cold, at first at least, which was a shock coming from the Adriatic Sea that was so warm! It is always a fun time that my camera goes in the water because we get to take fu random pictures!
We had a great day today laying and basking in the sun and just enjoying what little time we have actually sitting out in the sun. We enjoyed a delicious dinner on our patio, and enjoyed a drink as well. Then we made our way to our spot and watched the last of the sunset. Apparently having our evening coffee made us miss the first part of the sunset. But we still got to enjoy the best part.
We had a great day, laying at the rocky beach and enjoying the cold water and hot heat. One last day in this beautiful place. Glad we got to go in the water today, it was very salty and very rocky. But hey it's the ocean and we are okay with a rocky beach. I am not a fan of sand. It gets everywhere and I don't enjoy it so I am certainly okay with rocks.
After about a half an hour you eventually get the rocks to work with how you are laying. They also had a little shower that was nice so we could get the salt off of us. Then we were able to enjoy the sun a little longer. It was a great day!
And so the adventure continues...
